Quick question for everyone dealing with financial advisers: What do you do when they won't give you straight answers about fees or strategy?
I'm talking about those moments when you ask for a clear breakdown and they start dodging. Is that a red flag big enough to walk away? Or is some level of opacity just... normal in this industry?
Honestly considering switching to someone who'll actually lay out the full picture. Transparency shouldn't be this hard to get, right? Especially when it's your money on the line.
Anyone been in a similar spot? How did you handle it?

I've encountered this before—just replace the person. Being vague is just setting a trap.

Hmm... you hit the nail on the head. I would leave immediately without hesitation. I’ve never kept any of those evasive advisors around.

ngl I would just pass on this kind of advisor. I’ve seen too many black box operations... It’s my own money, why should I be kept in the dark?
