I don't quite understand the situation with ZEC... The logic worked for BTC, but can you just switch to another coin and talk about store of wealth and expect it to work? I feel like it still depends on whether the privacy features can truly hold up.

BTC is an inflation hedge, while ZEC is the real privacy fortress. These two aren't even on the same level.

Alright, to put it simply, BTC is for preserving your principal, ZEC is for hiding your assets—one is for hedging against inflation, the other is for avoiding scrutiny...

Hmm, ZEC's privacy features are indeed much stronger than BTC's, but poor liquidity is a major drawback.

I don't really understand the game with ZEC; it seems like BTC is still more popular.

LOL, one is to "protect purchasing power," the other is to "protect your wealth"—sounds like they're both just excuses to get me to spend more money, haha.
BTC is chasing that store of value narrative
ZEC? It's going for store of wealth
Sounds similar but they're playing different games
One preserves purchasing power, the other protects what you've built
Market needs both frameworks
