List of stolen items from the Louvre in France released

Jin10 data reports on October 20 that the Louvre Museum in France announced on the evening of the 19th local time that a burglary occurred in the Apollo Gallery of the museum that morning. The gallery houses the French royal jewelry and the “Crown BCD” series. Two high-security display cases were targeted, with a total of 8 pieces of jewelry with “immeasurable historical value” stolen. The announcement stated that the alarm systems for the gallery's exterior windows and the two display cases were activated. The intrusion was “extremely swift and destructive.” The Louvre stated that due to the quick and appropriate response of the staff, the suspect abandoned some equipment and the stolen crown of Empress Eugénie while fleeing. The condition of the crown is currently under assessment.
