According to reports, the investigation into the accident of SpaceX's Starship spacecraft's eighth test flight has been completed. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) recently announced that it has accepted the conclusions of the investigation led by SpaceX, confirming that the root cause of the accident was a hardware failure of a "Raptor" engine, which ultimately led to the crash of the spacecraft.

No public casualties or damage to public property were found during the investigation. It is worth noting that the FAA has confirmed that SpaceX has taken corresponding corrective measures before the planned ninth test flight to prevent similar issues from occurring again.

The investigation results of this incident revealed the technical challenges faced during the testing of large spacecraft, while also reflecting the high importance and strict regulation of safety in the field of space exploration.
