Jason Tuvey, analist at Capital Economics, wrote in a report that the cessation of violence in the Middle East will allow the region's economy to recover, but this largely depends on whether peace can be sustained. Tuvey said the impact of the ceasefire on the economy depends on whether the protocol can be maintained and whether it can alleviate the wider tensions in the region. He added that this will also ease some of the economic pressures on Israel itself, but oil prices are unlikely to be greatly affected.
