According to 1M AI News monitoring, Alibaba Tongyi Qianwen’s team announced a partnership with the AI inference infrastructure platform Fireworks AI. The flagship model Qwen3.6-Plus will be integrated into the Fireworks AI platform to provide inference and fine-tuning services, open to developers in the United States and around the world.
Qwen3.6-Plus is the latest flagship large model released by Tongyi Qianwen, focusing on agent programming capabilities. It supports a context window of around 1 million tokens and output of up to 65,536 tokens. It uses a built-in chain-of-thought inference architecture and natively supports function calling. Fireworks AI was founded by former Meta PyTorch team members and focuses on high-performance model inference services. Tongyi Qianwen says that this partnership will leverage Fireworks AI’s optimized inference technology stack to provide high-performance, low-cost inference services for Qwen3.6-Plus. The specific go-live timeline and pricing have not yet been announced.
