Ethereum stablecoin market share fell from 90% to 65%, while the number of independent senders rose to 12,000

Gate News message, on April 3, according to Dune and Visa’s latest data, Ethereum’s market share in non-USD stablecoin supply has fallen from 90% at the beginning of 2023 to 65% as of February 2026, showing that other blockchains are rapidly grabbing market share. Even so, Ethereum is still the main blockchain for stablecoin issuance. Notably, Ethereum ranks only fifth in the number of independent senders on the stablecoin network, but overall ecosystem user adoption continues to grow; the number of independent senders has jumped from 2,000 people in the same period last year to 12,000 people, reflecting that the stablecoin ecosystem is accelerating its expansion.
