Gate News update, on April 1, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a statement saying that the situation in the Strait of Hormuz is “firmly in its hands,” and that it “will not allow this country’s enemies to access it because of the absurd performance of the U.S. president.” Earlier, U.S. President Trump claimed that the Iranian president has requested a ceasefire, and added that he would consider this request when he is “ready to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, free and open.”
