Marshall Islands UBI Project Company M1X Global Completes $3 Million Angel Round Financing

Gate News reports that on March 25, M1X Global, the company behind the Marshall Islands’ Universal Basic Income (UBI) project, announced the completion of a $3 million angel round funding. Investors include several industry executives with backgrounds in crypto and finance. The new funds will be used to promote the development and application of USDM1 digital sovereign bonds. USDM1 is a sovereign financial instrument pegged to the US dollar, designed to support local residents’ participation in the UBI program. The asset was launched on the Stellar blockchain in December 2025 and will expand to the institutional market and be used as high-quality collateral in the future.
