The Ethereum Foundation (EF) has launched a scholarship grant program to support academic research on Ethereum conducted by PhD researchers. This initiative provides financial support to help expand research boundaries related to Ethereum across various fields. Each selected applicant will receive a $24,000 grant over one year to supplement their current scholarship income.
The program is open to all disciplines but prioritizes areas such as economics, political science, business, public policy, computer science, urban planning, and sociology. A total of 9–10 researchers will be selected. Applicants must be enrolled in a PhD program at an accredited university or academic institution. The proposal submission deadline is 11:59 PM UTC on April 1.
