Ethereum ecosystem network peak TPS has reached a historical new high, with Lighter contributing 90% but only paying 685 dollars in on-chain costs.
According to a ChainCatcher report and GrowThePie data, the Ethereum Mainnet set a historical record for maximum throughput in 2025. The peak TPS (transactions per second) of the Ethereum ecosystem recently reached an all-time high of 32,950. Among them, Lighter accounts for about 90% of the daily TPS on Ethereum L2, but only pays about 685 USD in on-chain costs to Ethereum each day.
