This new mechanism enables users to accumulate points and redeem them for cash tokens, position experience vouchers, and contract trial funds. Each trading action results in tangible rewards.

What Are Futures Points?

Futures Points are Gate’s dedicated rewards system for contract users. Whether through daily trading, account holdings, or inviting friends to participate, users earn points as rewards. Accumulated points can be redeemed directly on the Points page for a variety of benefits. All redeemable items are governed by official website announcements to ensure clarity and transparency of user rights.

Three Ways to Easily Earn Points

Gate offers several avenues for earning Futures Points. As users continue to execute contract trades, they steadily accumulate rewards. The primary methods include:

1. Trading Volume Points

• The greater your daily trading volume, the more points you earn.
• A trading volume of 400 USDT earns 1 point.
• Both opening and closing trades are counted.
• No daily cap—high-frequency traders can maximize their returns.

2. Balance Snapshot Points

Each day, the system automatically snapshots contract accounts (including spot balances under unified accounts) and allocates points based on asset value:

• $100 ≤ Balance < $1,000: 1 point/day
• $1,000 ≤ Balance < $10,000: 2 points/day
• $10,000 ≤ Balance < $100,000: 3 points/day
• ≥ $100,000: 4 points/day

Note: Assets in financial accounts (such as Savings) are excluded from balance snapshot calculations.

3. Invitation Points

Earn rewards by inviting friends to join Gate contract trading:

• Invite 1 friend: 1 point
• Invite 2 friends: 2 points
• Invite 3 or more friends: 3 points

An invitation is considered valid only if the invitee earns at least 2 points.

Points Redemption and Usage

Users can instantly redeem points on the Points page for a variety of practical rewards. These include cash tokens, position experience vouchers, and contract trial funds. Users receive points immediately upon issuance, and the system deducts them in real time after use. All rules and available items are subject to the latest platform announcement.

Points Validity and Rules

To promote flexible usage and encourage active participation, Gate has established the following rules:

• Validity: Points are valid for 15 days from issuance. The system automatically voids expired points and does not reinstate them.
• Issuance: Points earned each day are awarded collectively the following day.
• Deduction order: The system deducts points starting with those closest to expiration.

Example: If a user receives 10 points on October 14, they must use them by October 29 or the points will expire automatically.

Important Notes

1. Daily trading volume of 400 USDT or holding positions over 100 USDT qualifies you to start earning points.
2. Copy trading and bot trading volumes are excluded.
3. Futures Points and Alpha Points are separate reward systems. They do not impact each other.
4. Market makers, business accounts, and institutional users are not eligible for this program.
5. Only trading volumes recognized by the platform are counted. Self-trades, wash trades, or abnormal transactions are excluded.
6. Points are a platform utility. They are non-transferable, non-tradable, and not cash or token assets.
7. Gate reserves the right to amend points rules, usage scenarios, and validity periods. The platform will announce any changes.
