The primary cryptocurrency has experienced an impressive rise over the past few weeks, rising from under $40,000 to over $50,000. This comes as recently approved spot Bitcoin ETFs in the United States have attracted billions of dollars in the first few weeks of trading.
The asset's price has risen above $52,000 several times recently but has not been able to sustain the momentum towards $53,000. This finally happened yesterday when the bulls started another uptrend and touched this level to market a new high since late 2021. However, the bears were quick to block this move and pushed BTC to the downside. In a vehement refusal, the price of the cryptocurrency fell more than two thousand times in an hour and fell below $51,000.
