The United Arab Emirates expresses willingness to participate in the security assurance of the Strait of Hormuz navigation route.
Golden Finance reported that on April 2, according to reports by the United Arab Emirates’ Khaleej Times on 2, the UAE Minister of State Khalifa said the same day that the UAE is willing to participate in any measures related to ensuring the safety of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz. Khalifa said that the Strait of Hormuz is an important international passage governed by international law. The UAE will safeguard its own legitimate interests while also being willing to participate in collective action to maintain regional stability. (Xinhua)
