ETH2 Token will be upgraded to GTETH, Gate will suspend related trading for 2.5 hours to complete the system upgrade.

Gate News bot reports, according to the Gate platform announcement on September 18, 2023:

Gate will conduct a comprehensive upgrade of the staking tokenization system, and all staking derivative tokens will be uniformly renamed as GT series standardized assets. Among them, ETH2 tokens will be exchanged and upgraded to GTETH at a ratio of 1:1.

The upgrade work will be carried out from September 18, 2025, 15:30 to 18:00 ( UTC+8 and is expected to take 2.5 hours. During the upgrade, services related to ETH2 spot trading pairs, bot trading, dollar-cost averaging, and on-chain earnings will be suspended.

After the upgrade is complete, the original ETH2 token will be renamed GTETH, and related business functions will gradually resume. The staked ETH2 in existing lending orders will be directly converted to GTETH at a 1:1 ratio, and the staking value of GTETH will remain consistent with that of ETH2.
