Suilend: Suspension of IKA loans, the balance of each IKA depositor will be reduced by 6%.
On September 9, the official Suilend lending protocol of the Sui ecosystem announced the suspension of IKA loans until further notice. This morning, IKA surged from $0.04 to $0.47, and some IKA loans were liquidated at an overly high valuation, leading to positions subsequently falling into loss, resulting in a funding gap of $379,000. IKA depositors were affected, with each IKA depositor's IKA deposit balance reduced by 6%. BlockBeats previously reported that IKA "Long Wick Candle" surged 700% at 5:11 this morning before pulling back, with IKA losing $2.2189 million in liquidation over 24 hours, including $2.1157 million from short orders.
