The ApeCoin community almost unanimously supports dissolving the DAO and establishing ApeCo.
Gate News bot message, the voting on proposal AIP-596 regarding the dissolution of ApeCoin DAO and the establishment of a new entity named ApeCo has officially concluded, with the voting results ending overwhelmingly in favor: 99.66% in favor, only 0.32% against, and 0.01% abstained.
The proposal aims to restructure the entire ApeCoin ecosystem by transferring assets and liabilities from the DAO to ApeCo—a legal entity created by Yuga Labs. The leadership of ApeCo is expected to include Cameron Kates, the current CEO of the Ape Foundation, as well as other members and the Banana Bill team.
