- Had two running positions here, a knife catch with limits under $36 and then another long when we reclaim July Low post deviation + Value Area of Range
- Breakout of Range + Break Above AVWAP from the highs is in play now so closing half (the 1st long) at $43.5 now
- Keeping a trailing stop for the rest of the position and preparing to re-buy if this massive weekend pump is retraced even partially

- Buying $3400 was indeed a good idea
- Short term we should have a final pullback to scare out some longs
- BTC range low retest should be the risk on signal. ETH has not been trading as usual. Long term $6k should now be spot TP

News Trading Pt3 Updated for 2025
- Not an exact setup. Discretion and knowledge of flows required
- Throughout this time span of Trump being in the office, we have seen a mismatch between the news coming out and general price action (always be on the lookout for these mispricing effects)
- Given the past few months, mostly every tarrif related news or proxy wars provided to be a good bid especially when in key support areas and vice versa
- Trigger: (price failing to breakout at key resistance areas despite earth shattering news)

$BTC remains in a wait and watch zone
- We are forming a new range with strong resistance near $116.5k where we could have a bearish retest
- Dips to sweep some lows but not all near $111-2k should be bidding levels if we get order flow triggers
- Break up here should send to new ATHs
Not considering shorts on BTC for now. Longs only on BTC and then we look for shorts on alts if we do get a bearish trigger

Simple Long Trigger: Only Enter Longs If OI flush + SFP/Demand test occurs
Trend Trading and Range Trading needs to be separate set-ups and mindsets on your end
Once you're clear you're trading a range, wait for MSB to form and then long a demand test with OI flushed (longs stopped out/liquidated) or an SFP of the range lows
