#Gate观点任务 #ELX Elixir (ELX) is a modularity Liquidity network aiming to improve the trading efficiency in Decentralized Finance and Centralized Exchange. It provides an infrastructure to increase order book Liquidity and allows institutional investors to interact with blockchain-based markets.
One key feature of Elixir is de USD, which is a fully collateralized, yield-bearing synthetic dollar. Unlike traditional stablecoins, de USD is not pegged 1:1 to the dollar, but instead maintains its value through a diversified portfolio of liquid assets including ETH and MakerDAO's USDS T-Bill protocol. This approach enables de USD to remain stable in volatile market conditions.
Elixir integrates with financial institutions. This integration allows real-world assets (RWAs) to enter the crypto economy in a compliant and organized manner. The network is protected by over 30,000 validators, ensuring its decentralized operation and security.
How does Elixir work? Elixir operates through a decentralized proof of stake (DPoS) consensus mechanism, where validators play a crucial role in ensuring network security and managing Liquidity. Some key components define the operation of the ecosystem:
Liquidity infrastructure of exchange
Elixir connects to Centralized and Decentralized exchanges to increase Liquidity for trading pairs. Many Decentralized Finance exchanges struggle to attract sufficient market-making activity, resulting in insufficient Liquidity and large bid-ask spreads. Exchanges can improve trading efficiency by integrating with Elixir-powered Liquidity pools.
Users can provide Liquidity to the Elixir network and receive passive rewards. Retail investors providing Liquidity help create a stronger order book, reducing reliance on Centralized Exchange market makers.
Institutions can also print dollars by tokenizing real-world assets (RWAs) into synthetic dollars, allowing them to participate in the Decentralized Finance market without changing their asset exposure. This feature brings new capital into Decentralized Finance while providing local synergies.
