ADA Founder Unaware of Reserves: Was Solana Actually Included for Ripple? - Coin Bulletin
Charles Hoskinson says he has no knowledge of ADA being included in the US Crypto Strategic Reserve, while sources indicated that Solana was also included to legitimize the addition of XRP.
US President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social that ADA, XRP, and SOL will be included in the Crypto Strategic Reserve. Following this announcement, the price of ADA surged by more than 100% to reach $1.14 but later dropped to $0.97.
After announcing that Cardano will be included in the (ADA) Crypto Strategic Reserve, it was expected that Hoskinson would attend the summit at the White House. However, according to Unchained, Hoskinson stated that this decision was not consulted with him or the Cardano team. Hoskinson, claiming to be completely unaware of his own network being included in such a plan, implied that the Trump administration lacks knowledge about crypto policies.
White House officials also confirmed that Hoskinson was not involved in any process related to crypto policies and was not invited to the crypto summit. An official said, "They are just trying to create their own narratives but are not involved in any way in the policy process."

According to Unchained's report, Ripple Labs conducted lobbying activities with the Trump administration to ensure the inclusion of XRP in reserves. Sources claimed that adding XRP to Solana's strategic reserves (SOL) was proposed to legitimize the inclusion of XRP.
