The Ethereum Foundation announced (EF), new executive appointments and changes in duties.
The Ethereum Foundation has announced the appointment of Hsiao-Wei Wang and Tomasz Stanczak as co-executive directors, guiding the development of the blockchain as a non-profit organization.
In the statement of the Ethereum Foundation, it was emphasized that Ethereum continues to evolve as a strong, permissionless, and censorship-resistant base layer for global finance and software. It was stated that with the new managers, the foundation will continue to advance the core values set forth in the establishment of Ethereum.
Taiwanese researcher and community organizer Wang, stated that he will adhere to the Ethereum Foundation's core values. Stanczak announced that he will start his duty on March 17th, but will step down from some official roles. In addition, in response to criticisms of the leadership model, he stated that stakeholders can communicate with the manager of their choice and both have decision-making authority.
