Arbitrum DAO's proposal to 'allocate 35 million ARB for investment in RWA' has been approved.
Odaily Planet Daily News Arbitrum DAO announced that the community has approved the distribution of 35 million ARB tokens to various stable assets, with a total investment value of approximately $15.5 million. These funds come from the project's Stable Treasury Endowment Program (STEP), which previously distributed 35 million ARB to investments in six products in June 2024. It is understood that STEP is a plan to invest 1% of the funds of the Arbitrum DAO in tokenized RWA, aiming to diversify the DAO's funds and generate returns through industry growth. The latest allocation is part of the Arbitrum DAO STEP 2.0 plan. Together with 35 million ARB from STEP 1.0 and 15 million ARB managed by the treasury, the total investment in RWA reaches 85 million ARB. Arbitrum DAO stated that this investment is currently one of the largest investments by the DAO.
