According to reports, TaoTian Group’s current exploration of AI will focus on the AI to B direction, with its core OKRs being the retention rate of AI tools for merchants and the GMV growth brought by AI. The background is that by 2026, Open Claw will trigger the AI Agent, and Alibaba CEO Wu Yongming proposed that Alibaba establish a new Alibaba Token Hub (ATH) business group, with all related businesses needing to commercialize around Tokens.
Organizational changes also occurred. It is understood that Zhang Kaifu, head of the AI business of the China e-commerce business group, is no longer responsible, and the “Smart Search and Recommendation Product” division that carries the AI business has been adjusted into two departments: “Platform Users and Products” and “Smart Algorithms.” The multimodal “Future Innovation Business Unit” has been integrated into the ATH business group.
