At two in the morning, a brother in a group sent me a voice message, his voice trembling, $RAVE

10k US dollars, 10x full position, dropped 3%, and how come everyone is gone?

I checked the record and saw that he went all in with 9,500 US dollars directly, without even setting a stop-loss.

Many people always think that full position is safer, and liquidation happens because of too high leverage.

Actually, that's wrong.

What really kills you is never 10x or 20x leverage.

It's when you gamble with 95% of your principal.

Think about it: an account with 10k US dollars, using 9,500 US dollars at 10x leverage, if the market just pulls back a little, you're out immediately.

But if you only use 2,000 US dollars at 10x, even if you’re wrong, losing a bit still leaves you a chance to bounce back.

So, K always sticks to three rules:

First, no more than 20% per trade.

For a 10k US dollar account, use at most 2,000 US dollars at a time. Because small losses are acceptable, big losses will ruin you.

Second, single loss cannot exceed 3% of total funds.

Open a position with 2,000 US dollars, set a stop-loss in advance, and exit if you lose 300 US dollars.

If you’re wrong, admit it, and you can continue; if you don’t, next time you won’t even qualify to get back in.

Third, don’t trade during sideways markets, and don’t add after profits.

The ones who really make money are always those who understand the trend best.

Sideways, chaos, pinning, look lively, but they are the easiest ways to get wrecked.

Once had a fan, with 5,000 US dollars, who blew up four times in a month.

Later, I forced him to follow these three rules, and in three months, he grew to 8,000 US dollars, with no more blow-ups.

He then said something I still remember: I used to think full position was for wrecking.

Later I realized, the real purpose of full position is to help you survive longer.

The crypto world isn’t short of opportunities; what’s missing is someone telling you when to go in and when to stop. $BTC #Gate13周年现场直击
