These days, I keep hearing the interpretation that "ETF inflow = about to take off" and "stablecoin supply increase = off-chain money is coming in"... It sounds pretty smooth, but honestly, correlation does not equal causation. When on-chain stablecoins increase, it could be due to moving, market making, collateral cycling, or even just switching pools and lying around; ETF is more like a sentiment thermometer—when risk appetite in the US stock market shifts, crypto gets pulled into the same narrative as a footnote.
Right now, I’m basically waiting for confirmation, waiting for a pullback, and waiting to think things through before taking action. I can still gossip a bit when I see someone rushing in the blockchain community, but treating macro narratives as a switch button is easy to fool myself. First, have some tea, take it slow.
