It’s that time of the season again—“Interaction Season.” The moment the noise starts in the group chat, it’s straight into airdrop screenshot spam + KOLs naming and calling each other out, making it super easy to develop itchy fingers. My approach is pretty old-school: first, split your wallet into layers—don’t touch your main wallet with new protocols, and only keep the small accounts stocked with enough gas you can afford to lose. For every interaction, treat it like buying a ticket—don’t assume you’ll always break even, or you’ll end up getting reverse-rugged and your mindset will blow up. Later, I realized the easiest thing to trigger FOMO isn’t the rules at all, but the narrative spread of seeing others “hit continuously”… Anyway, I’d rather do fewer rounds now than chase the kind of activity that keeps pushing you to frenzy-scan and pump volume. Also, that whole NFT royalty drama is quite similar to airdrops: everyone wants to get more, but once liquidity tightens, the first thing to be harvested is still emotions. That’s it for now.
