A blogger discovered that many people in Hong Kong are still working well into old age.

When asked why, these people said they earned several million when they were young.
They thought they could spend it all in a lifetime, so they stopped working and just traveled and played.
As a result, prices rose too quickly, houses appreciated too fast, and money depreciated too rapidly.
In the end, they found themselves with no money when they got old and had to work again.

It's not necessarily typical, but it does provoke thought: today's ten million yuan will also be worth very little in 30 years.
