The Ministry of Public Security deploys strict enforcement to crack down on crimes involving the illegal manufacturing, sale, and use of banned or restricted pesticides.

The Ministry of Public Security’s Bureau of Environmental Resources and Food and Drug Crime Investigation has deployed efforts to strictly crack down on illegal manufacturing, sales, and use of banned or restricted pesticides, in accordance with the law. It requires public security agencies across all regions and their environmental, food, and drug crime investigation departments to strengthen their sense of responsibility, focus on key work areas, and rigorously combat all types of pesticide-related crimes to effectively ensure agricultural safety and build a solid “from farm to table” food safety defense line. The Bureau of Environmental, Food, and Drug Crime Investigation of the Ministry of Public Security demands to adhere to proactive policing, actively coordinate with relevant departments to carry out joint law enforcement, focus on key locations, key areas, and key links involved in the production, operation, and use of pesticides, strengthen patrols and investigations, and actively uncover criminal clues. It insists on a full-chain crackdown, promptly analyzing and assessing the results of sampling and testing of pesticide products and edible agricultural products by relevant departments, accurately identifying and investigating illegal production, sales, and use of banned or restricted pesticides, and resolutely punishing suspected crimes according to the law. It will thoroughly investigate the entire “production, sale, and use” chain. (CCTV News)
