Last night, I saw someone discussing that the main public blockchain is going to upgrade and will be offline for a while, and everyone in the comment section was guessing whether ecosystem projects would take the opportunity to migrate. I first took out my wallet to take a look... The more these node changes and rumors fly around, the more phishing sites love to jump on the bandwagon, creating pages for “upgrade migration / claiming rewards / verification,” which look pretty convincing, I almost clicked on one.
Anyway, my current red line is simple: never enter mnemonic phrases into any webpage (not even official ones); if I don’t understand the signing authorization, I won’t sign, especially those that ask for “unlimited authorization”; if I need to operate, I’ll do it manually through the project’s official website or from my bookmarks, and I won’t trust short links shared in groups. I can be impulsive about a picture, but when it comes to wallets, I’d rather not let narrative influence my judgment. That’s all for now.
