Mars Finance News: On April 15, the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing officially released the “Guidelines for Building Enterprise Supply Chain Control Towers” group standard. The publication of this standard will provide systematic technical support and implementation guidance for enterprises to build intelligent, integrated supply chain management hubs. Hu Dajian, Vice President of the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing, explained that the supply chain control tower is equivalent to a company’s super brain, or its command center or command hub. It uses a series of technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, artificial intelligence, and digital twins to integrate data from various dispersed parts of the enterprise, from planning to procurement, production, and delivery. This helps leverage digital technology to empower traditional industries, enabling them to achieve high-quality development. Next, the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing will organize pilot applications and promote implementation efforts to help the standards take root and show results in more industries and enterprises.
