Elon Musk's xAI is sued by NAACP over Memphis data center project

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk’s xAI on Tuesday, accusing the company of posing health risks to local residents by powering data centers in Tennessee and Mississippi. The lawsuit states that Musk’s artificial intelligence (AI) company and its subsidiary MZX Tech operated gas turbines at a data center in Southaven, Mississippi without permission, violating the Clean Air Act.
