ME News Report, April 15 (UTC+8), Visa has launched a validation node on the Tempo blockchain, directly participating in transaction verification and processing for the real-time stablecoin payment network. The node is operated internally by Visa using its own infrastructure, developed in collaboration with the Tempo engineering team for six months, and together with early participants such as Stripe and Zodia Custody, became a “anchored validator.” Tempo is a Layer 1 blockchain designed specifically for real-time payments and stablecoin transactions, with validators responsible for confirming transactions and maintaining the network ledger. Visa stated that at this stage, its focus is on the strategic and technical roles of operating validators rather than economic gains. Previously, Visa announced its role as a validator on the Canton Network. (Source: PANews)
