I realize that what affects my sleep the most isn't how much I lost, but that floating loss hanging there like a constantly flashing warning light in the system. Clearly knowing that as long as I haven't closed the position, it's just fluctuations, but my brain automatically treats it as "lost" money. The more I think about it, the more I want to change orders or move stop-losses, which actually leads to worse execution.
Recently, there’s been a surge of narratives about AI Agents/auto trading. I see some people touting "self-running" as a selling point. Honestly, I care more about order delay and permission security: can I cancel orders, are private keys/authorizations minimized, and are there any unnecessary pitfalls in on-chain interactions? When losing money, it’s easiest to impulsively add a bunch of new tools, which turns floating losses into real losses. Forget it, I’ll just review permissions before sleeping.
