The Central Bank of Russia plans to require all crypto traders to complete identity verification and promote domestic exchanges to implement KYC mechanisms to reduce anonymous transactions; at the same time, residents will be required to report their overseas crypto holdings, and transfers of assets from domestic custodial wallets to offshore non-custodial wallets will be restricted. The relevant rules are expected to be implemented along with crypto regulation legislation in July this year. (DL News)
