These past few days, I was "scammed" again by on-chain data: for the same transaction, I saw it succeed in my wallet first, but it took a while for the browser to update, almost thought I clicked on a phishing link... Later I looked into it and realized that many "on-chain" views are actually perspectives provided by the nodes/RPC you connect to. They are busy, cached, and lagging behind; if the indexer is a bit slow, it can make you think the world has stopped. To put it simply, it's not that the chain isn't working, but that there is a delay in information transmission.

My biggest fear isn't slowness, but chaos—slowness can be waited out, but chaos leads to misoperations. Recently, hardware wallets have been out of stock, plus phishing links are everywhere. Especially in times like these, don't rely on just one entry point. I usually connect to two RPCs/browsers, preferring to confirm a bit later rather than clicking blindly. That's all for now.
