Netanyahu: Supports Trump's ceasefire decision with Iran but not including Lebanon

On the morning of the 8th local time, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu issued a statement saying that Israel supports U.S. President Trump’s decision to cease fire with Iran for two weeks and the U.S. efforts to ensure that Iran “no longer poses a threat,” but this ceasefire does not include Lebanon.
On the evening of the 7th Eastern Time, Trump posted on social media that he agreed to suspend bombings and attacks on Iran for two weeks, provided Iran agrees to “fully, immediately, and safely” open the Strait of Hormuz.
Subsequently, the Secretariat of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council announced that Iran will conduct two weeks of political negotiations with the United States in Islamabad. (CCTV News)
