Pakistani sources say Pakistan calls on the US and Iran to extend ceasefire by 45 days

ME News Report, April 14 (UTC+8), according to Pakistani diplomatic sources, Pakistan recently called on the United States and Iran to extend the current ceasefire agreement by 45 days. The existing ceasefire agreement is set to expire, and since the last round of negotiations, Pakistan has been actively communicating with multiple parties in hopes of building a broad alliance, seeking to extend the ceasefire or restore technical-level contacts, thereby creating conditions to promote the second round of political talks. Mediators are working to assist both the US and Iran in exchanging information on unresolved issues and trying to persuade both sides to extend the ceasefire period by at least 45 days.
