According to Reuters, HSBC (Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation) has hired ICBC Standard Bank precious metals trader Mark Augustynak as the head of global metals trading, expected to join by mid-2026. Notably, the previous person in this role, Vincent Domien, left HSBC at the end of 2025 to join Tether, and resigned this March; sources say he is now planning to join ICBC Standard Bank as the head of precious metals trading.
