4 High-Emotional Intelligence Response Techniques

1. Respond with a compliment when praised

Question: When receiving praise, habitually respond humbly (like "Not really, just average"), feeling happy inside but pretending to be modest.
Technique: Go along with the other person's words to create interaction (like "I just like people with good taste like you").

2. Present a C option in a dilemma

Applicable scenario: When faced with a difficult choice between A and B.
Technique: Propose a C option or respond indirectly, shift the topic, and add humor (like asking how much they earned and replying "Gained a few pounds," or when asked if single, reply "Afraid I might scare you half to death").

3. Neither deny yourself nor others

Question: When compared, responses that inflate oneself, belittle others, or seem boring (like "Fool, we run at the same speed").
Technique: Find each other's strengths and praise them accordingly (like "I run faster in high heels, he runs faster in sneakers"), using humor to defuse the situation.
