ME News Report, April 2nd (UTC+8), on April 2nd, Alibaba officially released the new generation large language model Qwen3.6-Plus, with Alibaba’s flagship enterprise AI application Wukong being the first to integrate it.
Qwen3.6-Plus significantly enhances overall performance in coding, intelligent agents, reasoning, and native multimodal capabilities. In authoritative evaluations such as the SWE-bench series for intelligent agent programming and the real-world intelligent agent task Claw-Eval, Qwen 3.6 outperforms models with two to three times the parameters, such as GLM-5 and Kimi-K2.5, becoming the most powerful domestic model for programming capabilities today, approaching the world’s top programming models like the Claude series.
For Wukong users, adopting the new model offers three major improvements:

  • A substantial boost in intelligent agent programming ability compared to other general models, enabling AI to evolve from a “co-pilot” to a “collaborator” capable of independently handling sub-tasks, such as writing cross-file code, running tests, and iterating fixes;
  • Significantly improved long-term task planning and execution capabilities, making it more reliable in decomposing complex multi-step workflows common in enterprise scenarios, resource scheduling, and delivering results;
  • Outstanding cost-performance advantages, with input costs as low as 2 yuan per million tokens, greatly lowering the threshold for enterprise-scale use.
    As Alibaba’s flagship enterprise AI application, Wukong plays a key role in connecting the latest model technology with real enterprise needs. It has been the first to integrate Qwen3.6-Plus, providing users with a more powerful programming ability, better execution results, and higher cost-effectiveness in enterprise agent experiences.
    For example, in R&D scenarios like solo development, users can describe their needs in natural language, and Wukong autonomously completes the entire process from solution breakdown, code writing, website generation, to testing and validation;
    In knowledge management scenarios such as legal affairs, Wukong can extract key information across documents, compare clause changes, identify risks, and generate decision-making suggestions;
    In business process automation scenarios like finance and manufacturing, employees only need to specify their goals, and Wukong can autonomously perform cross-system queries, data entry, approvals, and other operations, turning complex workflows into “one-sentence” intelligent services.
    Wukong’s early integration with Qwen3.6-Plus is a key practice in combining Alibaba’s AI models with real-world scenarios.
    Alibaba Wukong product leader stated that the competition in enterprise AI applications essentially depends on the product of “model capability × scene understanding.” The breakthroughs in intelligent agent programming and long-term task planning provided by Qwen3.6-Plus lay a new foundation for Wukong to address complex pain points for enterprise clients, while the scene awareness accumulated through years of deep engagement in the enterprise market by DingTalk enables Wukong to precisely embed these capabilities into real workflows.
    Starting today, Wukong membership users can access the Qwen3.6-Plus model in version 0.9.20 and above.
