Recently, according to data from the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, in 2025, BYD passenger vehicles sold 11,184 units in Singapore, an increase of 80.6% year-on-year, maintaining the top spot in annual full-brand sales. Since entering the Singapore passenger car market in 2022, BYD has successfully topped the charts within just two years.

In addition, in the commercial vehicle sector, BYD electric buses officially entered Singapore in 2018, with orders exceeding 500 units and a market share of over 60%, firmly ranking first in the industry. In October 2025, BYD won the bid for Singapore’s first L4-level autonomous bus service pilot project, marking the first time autonomous buses have been integrated into an overseas public transportation system.

In the electric truck field, BYD entered Singapore in 2020, beginning to deliver the T9 sanitation trucks locally, becoming the first company to sell electric trucks in Singapore. From 2021 to 2025, BYD’s pure electric trucks registered a total of 1,450 units in Singapore over five years, ranking first.

The Singapore market has extremely strict requirements for vehicle safety, energy consumption, and reliability, serving as a benchmark for Southeast Asia and even the global market. BYD offers comprehensive new energy transportation solutions across all scenarios, securing multiple firsts in passenger and commercial vehicles, thanks to 12 years of dedicated effort, consistently providing market-leading technology, reliable products, and high-quality services.

On March 26, the pure electric small truck T35 was officially launched in Singapore, priced at approximately 143k SGD (about 770k RMB), including vehicle ownership certificates and government subsidies. The price is valid until April 8. The T35’s narrow-road maneuverability is flexible and efficient, meeting diverse needs such as urban express delivery and commercial distribution, providing zero-emission, high-efficiency solutions for the local logistics industry.

Thus, in the passenger vehicle sector, BYD has already deployed models such as ATTO 3, Dolphin, Seal, and Lion, while the luxury brand Denza has models like D9 and B5, covering multiple market segments; in the commercial vehicle sector, BYD has established a product lineup including electric buses, heavy trucks, and small trucks. BYD’s full-scenario solutions for passenger and commercial vehicles meet diverse needs for personal travel, public transportation, and logistics, supporting Singapore’s goal of achieving all vehicles powered by clean energy by 2040.
