CryptoWorld News reports that UK Prime Minister Starmer said on the 13th that this week he will co-host a leaders’ meeting with French President Macron on shipping security in the Strait of Hormuz.

That same day in the UK Parliament, Starmer said the meeting will focus on topics including ending the conflict through diplomatic channels, reopening the strait, and providing security for international shipping once the situation stabilizes.
Starmer emphasized that the UK’s position on developments in the Middle East should focus on de-escalating tensions and pushing for diplomatic resolution of disputes. The UK will neither support nor participate in blockade actions targeting the Strait of Hormuz. (CCTV News)
