The Israeli military claims to have killed more than 20 Lebanese Hezbollah members in the past day.
The Israel Defense Forces announced on the 19th that they killed more than 20 Hezbollah militants in southern Lebanon over the past 24 hours.
The IDF stated that they discovered multiple Hezbollah combat groups, killed over 20 armed personnel, destroyed dozens of Hezbollah military facilities, and seized weapons including rocket launchers and ammunition.
The Jerusalem Post reported that the IDF has deployed four divisions in southern Lebanon for ground operations.
The IDF is preparing to deploy more troops to southern Lebanon to further expand the “buffer zone” and “eliminate” Hezbollah’s threat to northern Israel.
