Integration of five major technological innovations: The country's first "Hualong One" main steam release isolation valve is officially delivered

On the 18th, China’s first domestically developed third-generation nuclear power “Hualong One” main steam release isolation valve was officially shipped in Dalian, Liaoning, heading to the project site. The main steam release isolation valve is a critical “safety barrier” in the nuclear power plant’s steam atmospheric discharge system, responsible for core functions such as residual heat discharge, overpressure protection, and system isolation, directly related to the safe and stable operation of the nuclear power unit. The delivered main steam release isolation valve incorporates five core technological innovations, successfully filling a domestic technological gap and achieving a major breakthrough in autonomous control of high-end core equipment for nuclear power. It is understood that this valve will be first applied to Unit 5 of the Lufeng Nuclear Power Plant, with subsequent mass supply to Unit 6 of the Lufeng Nuclear Power Plant and other “Hualong One” nuclear power units.
