Oracle and Bloom Energy have reached a power purchase agreement for their AI data center.

On April 13th local time, fuel cell manufacturer Bloom Energy announced an expansion of its partnership with Oracle to support the rapid development of its artificial intelligence and cloud computing infrastructure. Under a master service agreement, Oracle plans to purchase up to 2.8 gigawatts of Bloom fuel cell systems. As part of the agreement, an initial 1.2 gigawatts of fuel cell capacity has been contracted, with deployment underway and expected to continue into next year. Bloom’s fuel cells will support Oracle’s projects in the United States and help meet its cloud infrastructure needs. (Interface)
