Vice President of the People's Bank of China, Xuan Changneng, attends the Bank for International Settlements General Managers' Meeting
From March 7 to 9, 2026, the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) held the Governors’ meeting in Basel, Switzerland, and Xuanchang Neng, Vice Governor of the People’s Bank of China, attended. The central bank governors attending the meeting exchanged views on topics including the global economic and financial situation, the potential impact of conflicts in the Middle East on the economy and financial markets, and the use of artificial intelligence in the banking sector in the Asia-Pacific region. During the meeting, Vice Governor Xuanchang Neng also met with representatives from some participating central banks and international organizations to exchange views on issues of common concern.(People’s Bank of China)
