Recently, I started reviewing Bitcoin's history and came across something truly worth remembering. On January 10, 2009, Hal Finney wrote three words on Twitter that would change everything: "Running Bitcoin." It seems simple, but that moment marked the beginning of a revolution.

For those who don't know, Hal Finney was much more than someone who tweeted at the right time. That same day, he ran Satoshi Nakamoto's code and became the first recipient of a BTC transaction. Imagine that: while most of the world had no idea what Bitcoin was, Hal Finney was already there, actively participating in what would become the most important decentralized digital currency network in history.

Now, seventeen years later, that tweet from Hal Finney still serves as a reminder of how it all started. It wasn't a press release, it wasn't an official statement. It was simply someone testing the technology and sharing the moment. That is what makes it so powerful.

I think we often forget those who were there at the beginning. Hal Finney was part of the foundation of what is now a completely different financial ecosystem. His contribution was not only technical but also testimonial. He proved that Satoshi's code worked, that it was real.

These kinds of stories remind me why I stay in this space. It's not just about profits or speculation. It's about being part of something that is transforming how we understand money and technology. Hal Finney knew that from day one.
