Abstract generation in progress

According to LatePost Auto news, Horizon, an autonomous driving solution provider, is preparing its next-generation intelligent driving chip series, Journey 7 Series, with the highest-performance version, J7P, targeting compute power that will surpass NVIDIA Thor-X. It is planned to enter mass production in 2027. Meanwhile, Horizon also plans to launch this year an integrated cockpit chip called “Starry Sky,” supporting localized cockpit large-scale models. Different from the existing J6 series, the J7 product roadmap is led by the algorithm team, using a clearer chip design to better address the rapid evolution of future on-vehicle models. As compute demand increases, Horizon faces competitive pressure from Tesla and other automakers, and must push forward R&D for new platforms while maintaining mass production of its existing products.
