Dutch Prime Minister: No clear EU action plan yet regarding the Iran situation

On the 19th local time, Dutch Prime Minister Rutte stated at the EU Spring Summit that the current US and Israel attacks on Iran are not a war directly involving Europe, and Europe cannot participate in it. Rutte also emphasized that the Netherlands is willing to work with countries like France to provide security guarantees for European partners. Rutte said that the EU currently has no clear or mature action plan, and the situation in the Strait of Hormuz remains highly volatile, making it unsuitable to initiate related missions at this time. Rutte stated that the focus should now be on de-escalating the situation, and based on that, further measures that Europe can take should be evaluated. (CCTV News)
