Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China: Exploring innovative businesses such as "Computing Power Banks" and "Computing Power Supermarkets," supporting small and medium-sized enterprises to deposit idle computing power resources

ME News Report, April 2 (UTC+8), the General Office of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued a notice on carrying out a special action to promote inclusive computing power to empower the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, which mentions innovating inclusive computing power service models.
Improve the China Computing Power Platform’s SME Zone, China SME Service Network’s Computing Power Resource Docking Zone, and the National Computing Power Internet Service Node Zone (hereinafter collectively referred to as SME Platform Zones), promote precise matching of SME demands with computing power resource supply, and implement flexible payment models such as “card hours,” “verification hours,” and token-based billing.
Explore innovative businesses like “Computing Power Bank” and “Computing Power Supermarket,” support SMEs in depositing idle computing power resources, and enable flexible usage through cross-region and cross-cycle scheduling.
Implement an AI SME Entrepreneurship Support Program, encourage local authorities to provide subsidies such as “computing power vouchers,” “storage vouchers,” and “transportation vouchers” to SMEs aligned with industrial orientation via SME Platform Zones, simplifying the process of obtaining and using these resources.
